Show Preview: Flashclash w/ The Boy Wonders and Wireless G. The Shelter, Friday, May 4
I've seen loads of local bands, but Flashclash is the one of the few local bands I haven't caught live yet. That's all about to change this Friday when Flashclash play the Shelter for their "May the 4th Be With You" show. I've heard so much about their exuberant and electric performances that it's only been a series of misfortunate events that have kept me from seeing them thus far.
Flashclash is an electro-dance that combine elements of rock and jazz in their sound to create music that takes a bit of MGMT and expands it to something unclassifiable yet wholly accessible. Check out their smaller shows while you can because Flashclash is going big places real fast.
